ITINERÀNIA

Claiming the street as a natural meeting place, with Itinerània we practises an ephemeral and festive intervention in the public space. Our creations, installations made primarily of iron and wood, use visible basic mechanical structures and devices. It is a markedly participatory proposal which arouses the curiosity of all ages participants.

PARTICIPATORY INSTALLATION

Itinerània we are a street arts company creating interactive art installations since 2006.

Author participatory installation is a discipline with language within street arts. They are unusual structures that transform space, with gameplay by conductor and with audiences as an actor.

We have challenged the curiosity and ingenuity of audience of all generations at the main street arts festivals of some 20 countries on 3 continents, such as Theater Op de Markt (Hasselt-BE), GDIF (Greenwich-UK), MiramirO (Gent-BE), Kulturpur (Siegen-DE), FIA (Costa Rica), Flipside (Singapur) i Clockenflap (Hong- Kong).

Itinerània we are the creative tandem formed by Furti Coromina and Paco Hernández, accompanied by a select group of technicians formed by Koldo Peñas, Xabi Borinaga, Fina la Ina and Seba Dubicki.

We are part of PATEA (associated street arts), TTP (Association of Theater for All Audiences), and Galleda  (Interactive Installation Art Collective ). We are regular collaborators of Katakrak, Tombs Creatius, Toc de FustaEspectacleSpectacular and StRaDaCtivA.

From 2015, our atelier is located at Local 0.1 of La Fàbrica, an old bottling factory converted into creative spaces, in Sant Miquel de Balenyà (Barcelona). During the winter, we receive scheduled school visits.
